Frédéric Chesnais is a graduate of the French institute of political sciences (Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris) and holds degrees in Finance and in law. He started his career as a financial consultant and practised as a lawyer focused on merger and acquisitions. He then worked for Lazard from 1995 to 2000. From 2001 to 2007, he was part of the management team of the Atari Group, the videogame publisher, first as Deputy COO and Chief Financial Officer of the Group, and then as Chief Executive Officer of Atari Interactive. In 2007, he left Atari to create his own videogame production company. In 2013, he became a significant shareholder of the Atari group through the purchase of Atari securities held by BlueBay.
Todd Shallbetter is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds a degree in Mass Communications. He started his career in live entertainment, managing touring businesses for marquee entertainers, from Tina Turner to the Harlem Globetrotters. He then made the shift to managing entertainment merchandising entities, notably as the General Manager/Director of Finance of Blue Grape Merchandising, a subsidiary of Roadrunner Records, B.V., starting in 2001. In 2004, the company was acquired by Sanctuary Records Group/Bravado, where he continued as Director, Finance and Administration, transitioning and merging the entities into Bravado International Merchandising Services, now one of the world’s largest licensed property merchandising concerns. In 2005, Shallbetter joined the Atari Group as Director – Finance, with a focus on royalties and financial management, where he consolidated a number of global financial roles to the US operations. In early 2011, his primary role was shifted to own Atari’s growing digital content business, expanding the digital distribution vertical to $18mm in FY12. Shallbetter currently oversees all operations of Atari’s global business as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Zyngier is a graduate of the University of Campinas, Brazil with a degree in Chemical Engineering and also a graduate of the University of Chicago with an MBA in Finance & Accounting. He started his career as a technical brand manager for Procter & Gamble in Venezuela and Brazil from 1991 to 1995. After his MBA, he worked as an consultant for McKinsey & Co. in Chicago and New York from 1997 to 2001. He joined CRT Capital Group LLC in 2002 as a sell side analyst publishing credit research. In 2003, he joined Goldman Sachs & Co. where he worked as a distressed portfolio manager until 2007 when he joined Deutsche Bank until 2008. From 2009 to 2013, he was a Portfolio Manager for Alden Global Capital, a $3.5 billion fund investing in distressed and deep value securities in the Americas and Europe. Mr. Zyngier is the founding partner of Batuta Capital Advisors LLC where he works actively with a select set of companies and credit/equity investors to execute special situation credit/equity financings. He is also on the board of DTV America, a private company in the broadcasting space. In 2013, he became a significant shareholder of the Atari group through the purchase of Atari securities held by BlueBay.
