STAR RAIDERS 45TH ANNIVERSARY

We’re celebrating the 45th anniversary of the space-shooter hit with a limited edition collection. When Star Raiders launched on the Atari 400/800 in 1980, fans rushed to buy the 8-bit computer systems just to play this game. Set during a war between the Atarian Federation and the Zylon Empire, players loved the game’s addictive combination of spaceship battles and intergalactic strategy.



To preserve the keypad controls of the popular game, when Atari launched Star Raiders on the 2600 and 5200 consoles, they created a custom controller, the Video Touch Pad (VTP), to go with it. This collection includes everything you need to battle Zylons in style and features limited edition Star Raiders art, created by the Atari team.
