After your payment is verified, it takes up to 24 hours to process and ship your order. This does not include weekends or holidays. Purchases made after 11 am PST will not be shipped out until the next business day. If you order after 11 am PST on a Friday, your order will likely be shipped out on the following Monday.

As of this time Atari does not ship orders outside of the USA 

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately. Once our warehouse has processed your order, we will be unable to make any changes.

*Atari XP Cartridge pre-orders are considered final. Once the pre-order window is over they cannot be cancelled for any reason.

If your order was unexpectedly canceled, chances are that our fraud filter marked your order as fraudulent. If you are certain that that is not true, please order again.

Any new product can be returned for a refund within 30 days of delivery. Atari is not responsible for the shipping cost of returned items.

To start your return, please contact our customer support team: support@atari.com

They will have you locate your order number and help you print a return label. Once you have printed your return label, attach the label to your return package. If possible, use the same shipping materials that your order arrived in. Remove any previous labels and securely tape the new shipping label onto your package. Drop off your package at any facility designated by the carrier on your label.

• Make sure you are only returning item(s) that your return label has listed. Any additional item(s) may not be appropriately processed if no return is requested.

• Allow up to 10 business days from the day the item is delivered to our warehouse to be processed.

• Refunds will be returned to the same form of payment.

The Atari VCS Vault comes free with every VCS and includes one hundred Atari 2600 and Atari arcade games from the ’70s and 80’s, now remastered for the Atari VCS.The Atari VCS has something for every gamer. The Atari game store is loaded with an assortment of great Atari classics and modern games, a huge retro library from Antstream Arcade, and an ever-growing list of 3rd party indie titles. You can also access popular AAA cloud gaming services like Xbox Game Pass, Stadia, Luna and GeForce Now. Advanced users can access Atari’s unique PC Mode to load almost any existing game libraries, using Windows or another favorite operating system.

The Atari VCS store is available upon turning on the console and allows you to purchase and download a large selection of games and apps.

The Atari VCS works best with the Atari Joystick and Controller, and is also highly compatible with most Bluetooth or USB PC peripherals, including keyboard and mouse, game controllers, headsets and various other accessories many users already have.  

The Atari VCS is a connected device. An Internet connection is needed to create your account, download updates, make purchases, and access streaming services.

At this time we are only accepting orders in the U.S. and Canada.  We plan to offer the Atari VCS in more markets next year. If you leave us your information using the contact us form we will email you as soon as we are accepting orders from your country.

At the moment there is no immediate plan to sell replacement parts as standalone items, but we do expect to have some inventory of replacements for the face and backplates, and chassis pieces, for users who might have damaged the part and need a replacement. Please contact customer support for more information

Atari XP cartridges are manufactured to exacting standards from all new parts and materials, with beveled edges to prevent pin damage, strong gold-plated connectors, and identical power draw to the originals to ensure they are compatible with the Atari 2600.

The Atari 2600 is a home video game console first released by Atari in 1977. Games for the 2600 were distributed on swappable ROM cartridges. The 2600 remains popular with video game enthusiasts, and the demand for both original and nelly made cartridges remains high.

All orders are shipped via USPS or UPS. You can select a specific carrier and level service when you check out.  

Yes, you can cancel a pre-order up until the sales window is closed. After the window is closed all orders are considered final and cannot be canceled.

The Atari XP name is a tribute to the Atari Program Exchange (APX). The APX was a division of Atari, Inc. that sold software through a mail order catalog in the 1970s and 1980s. The quarterly APX catalog had a loyal following of owners of Atari's 8-bit home computers. Importantly, APX encouraged both professional and amateur programmers to submit software to be considered for commercial distribution, and by doing so encouraged a wave of software development.

Yes, we will announce the name and characteristics of the new token at a future date, but Atari does plan to issue a new branded token. The token will be issued directly by Atari, not part of a licensing arrangement with a third-party.

An Atari-branded token is simply too important to be kept at arm’s length from our company. The licensing arrangement we had for the former Joint Venture did not give us enough control over how the ATRI Token was managed, or enough say in charting its future. We believe blockchain will have a meaningful role in our business, and a branded Atari token that focuses on gaming, community, and utility will have an important place in that ecosystem. We feel that requires us to directly issue and manage any token that has our name on it.

There is not a date for the token grant at this time. We are taking the time to carefully create the new token and build a robust infrastructure to enable the grant and the ecosystem required to support the new token. We will be sharing information about our team, our roadmap, and our progress on a regular basis, supported by a Twitter account and an actively-moderated Discord community.

Only wallets holding tokens as of April 18, 2022 at 6:00PM CET (GMT +1) are eligible for participation in the grant.  We have created a “check your claim” webpage to help holders check their eligibility for the grant.

Because ATRI tokens are held and traded on a publicly accessible blockchain, Atari was able to take a snapshot of all wallets holding ATRI and the amount held. The snapshot includes LP providers on Uniswap to ensure those holding LP tokens are counted for the upcoming grant. The snapshot process was tested and audited to validate accurate counts.

No. Only tokens held as of the snapshot on April 18, 2022 at 6:00PM CET are eligible for a grant. Any tokens acquired after that time are not eligible.

Atari reserves the right to determine eligibility for the grant.

After the grant, the ATRI tokens will remain in the possession of the original holder. However, we do not foresee these tokens having a use or purpose, and they are not supported by Atari or considered part of our blockchain ecosystem in any way.

Airdropping new tokens is a potential violation of applicable regulations.

New tokens will only be issued to the self-custodied wallets in which they were held as of April 18, 2022 at 6PM CET.  See other disclosures for exchange related issues.

No. You will only be eligible for a claim for tokens you held as of April 18, 2022 at 6:00PM CET. Any additional tokens you acquire will not be eligible for a grant.

We are bringing in token experts to create a balanced pool of new tokens that allows us to be forward thinking and create a robust Atari blockchain ecosystem.

The exchange proposed by Atari is not an ICO. This is a grant of tokens, and we do not anticipate any restrictions related to ICOs will impact this process.

We are committed to keeping the community updated and informed. Our primary channels for communication will be Twitter, Discord, subscription email and updates to our websites.

As a licensor we did not have enough control over the ATRI Token to ensure it met our standards. Because we have a responsibility to the Atari brand, the Atari community, and the blockchain community, we felt we had no other choice than to terminate the license agreement.

No. Atari remains enthusiastic about the potential for blockchain initiatives and continues to establish and pursue strategic ventures and partnerships in the space. The new token will play an important role within our blockchain ecosystem.

Determining the tokens held in custodial solutions will require cooperation from the custodians. We are working to determine the best and most efficient way to handle these. If your tokens are held in a custodial solution, please do not move them until we provide guidance. Custodial exchanges include BKEX, Hotbit, Lbank, MEXC Global, Zonda, Bittrex, Probit Global and the Atarichain wallet.
