Super Breakout - Limited Edition

Originally developed as an arcade cabinet, Super Breakout was ported to the Atari 8-bit, 2600, 5200, and ST and in the late 90s made an appearance on the popular Gameboy handheld. Super Breakout’s cross-generational lifespan is a prime example of the universal appeal of Atari titles from the Golden Era of Gaming.

The Atari 2600 version was created by Carol Shaw and Nick Turner.  Shaw brought a lot of experience to the project, having worked on 3D Tic-Tac-Toe and Video Checkers.  She would go on to create the classic River Raid. Super Breakout was Nick Turner’s first title at Atari. He went on to create Snoopy and the Red Baron and Demons to Diamonds.
