Warlords - Limited Edition

Warlords started as an arcade game in 1980, and was produced in a traditional standup version for two players, and a sit-down cocktail table version that accommodated four players. But it is the Atari 2600 version that people remember most fondly. 

The Atari 2600 version of Warlords was created by Carla Meninsky, who is a bit of a rock star in the world of Atari 2600 developers. She was only credited with four published games while she was at Atari, but all four are classics. She designed and programmed Warlords and Dodge ‘Em, did the Atari 2600 port of Star Raiders, and developed Indy 500 with Ed Riddle. Carla was one of the many women at Atari who helped pioneer the video game industry.
