2600+ PAC-MAN Mega Collector Bundle

This simple to hook up and playing the Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man opened up all the memories of my uncle teaching me when I was little how to play his Atari 2600. This system runs good and the ghost and Pac-Man actually light up on the system when turned on. I’m so happy I bought this.

Beautiful, fun, well priced.

I purchased the system the moment it became available for purchase. The first disappointment was how long it took to receive it. Even though every YouTuber had one for free, we had to wait for more stock to get ours - us, the PAYING customers…

The system itself has been great. Since the latest firmware release, it’s even compatible with Pitfall II, which is great. I did not have any issue updating the firmware.

The only real issue is that the little Pac-Man topper on the joystick is peeling up. The joystick has not been used very much, so this is the second disappointment.

Overall, the system is good - it looks good and works. The price is where it should be for a special edition. The ability to play both 2600 and 7800 games with modern video output on a modern TV (without the need for mods) is great - even if it means waiting a few seconds for a game to load.

Wow this console looks great in my game room love popping in PAC -MAN and playing a few rounds.

One of my favorite purchases. Worth every penny. I love the style and the light up front face plate. I have thrown over 100 titles at it and all worked. can use classic controllers as well as new ones. The new pacman pack is great as well. A complete package worthy of any pacman or classic atari fan.

I'm too young to have ever experienced the original Atari 2600, but I've always loved the look and feel of all the OG consoles. I imagine this is what the original feels like. The joystick is stiff, the game takes skill, you can't just play for 5 minutes and you've mastered your rhythm to beat the game, etc. You have to actually take time to learn stuff and get used to the controller.
Trying to buy other games for it online was a bit of struggle at first. I was confused as to if there even was any other games, but turns out you can just whack in your old Atari 2600 or 7200 games. Atari do have remasters of the original games, but if you don't want to spend extra and have your old ones lying around I wouldn't buy them. I'll give it to them, the games are priced reasonably enough, £20-25 for a game now-a-days is great. The wee mix & match bundle always seems to be on offer. 5 games for ~£120 (in the UK at least, that includes £7 International shipping & VAT which is only included at checkout) is pretty good by todays standards, given most games start off around £50-70 for 1.
Everything about it feels retro but new. It's a console anyone in the family can pickup and play. I would seriously recommend it for any family. It's like a Wii but better. You don't have much set up (just connect a few cables) and only has 1 button on the controller. All the games are simple enough for anyone to play, you can also change some of the settings in pac-man (not sure if that was in the original).
All in all, it's a fantastic console that brings some much needed simplicity back into our modern age.

I sold my original Atari's to get this one. It plays my old games perfectly and the new 8200 games are awesome on here! It's well worth the upgade!

After having this console for a few days, I feel in love with it as soon as I opened it out of the box and then experiencing Pac-Man: Double Feature . The joystick feels comfortable and responsive to the game as I played, it's really pleasant and makes for an awesome time! Can't forget the the look of this console, it just oozes with style. To whoever is a Pac-Man fanatic or even just a lover of atari, this is something I would recommend highly, so grab those old cartridges and kick back, because this console is going to give a great experience, new or old.

The console does not work. When connected to power and monitor/tv, video does not display on the screen.

Got for a present for my husband's birthday he loves it. It works great definitely worth the money to see him so happy.

I bought this for my husband for the holidays last year as a nostalgic gift and throwback to our youth. I bought an extra joystick so we could play with our teenager. Loved to see the backward compatibility with the original Pac-Man screens when it originally came out.
What a fun and functional family game and stress relief for all.
Only complaint is the joysticks are super stiff. Will see if they loosen up at all. Otherwise it’s 5 stars!!

Loved Pac-Man in the '80s and when I seen this I knew I had to have it. Already have the Atari 7800+, but there is just something special about this one. Love them both

Fantastic the retro console

This Pac Man themed 2600+ is just awesome. It oozes 80s charm and looks great in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I still love my light sixer and 7800, but this is a perfect companion piece for when I want to play Atari on the big screen.

The Atari 2600 was the very first home consul I played at friends house back in 1980 The effect never changed and I'm 64 now Just being a kid again for a short. Pac-Man Anniversary edition has brought that back Thank you for the for doing it one more time Atari
In New Zealand we had the choice of the Atari 2600 or the very unusual Fountain Force 1 & 2 consules that played Atarti carts Very much vintage and most collectible. Talk about collectable would be the Pac Man Anniversary VIP media pac this is a keeper

I've reveived the console as a gift and this edition is amazing. I love It.
It is great to have the two versions of Pacman in the same cart. It would be great to have the same thing with other games: breakout, berzerk, asteroids, etc.
