Tiger-Heli 7800

Great port of a classic. Worth the money. I hope Atari releases more 7800 cartridges!

Great port of a classic shooter. Beter than previous ports to other systems.

Tiger heli is among, if not the best game ever made for the 7800! The graphics are exceptional with the gameplay to match. This was a day one pre order for me and the wait was more than worth it. This game will allow for high score saves on the 2600+ or 7800+ ( with the correct firmware). Amazing feature! The 80s called and it’s time to compete with your best friend for the top score!

Tiger-Heli is a very Nostalgic game for me, it was one of my early favorites on my NES. When I seen it was ported to the Atari 7800 in 2025, I had to have it. After playing it, I can say that it's definitely better than the NES version! It looks and sounds amazing! A much more arcade accurate port! If you own an Atari 7800, or a modern 2600+/7800+, then you need Tiger-Heli in your collection! Excellent work by Atari getting this amazing classic added to it's library!

A must have shooter for the 7800/7800+ consoles. This is an excellent port of the arcade coin-op by TOAPLAN, and I can't recommend this game enough.

I'd say this is the best "new" title that has come out for the 7800, which is saying a lot. Really didn't think the 7800 was capable of doing this!

Really fun game! Play exactly like the arcade version.

First of all, I love that new 7800 cartridges are being produced. That said, as a Toaplan and shmup fan, I had to grab Tiger Heli, despite owning the M2 Shottriggers collection. The 7800 version is great, it really puts the NES version to shame. Smooth gameplay, good music, and great playability especially when using a Genesis controller. Pure shmup bliss. Pick this up, you won't be disappointed!

I'm still in shock that there are New Releases in 2025 for the Atari 7800. THIS One is Amazing. Far superior to the NES version of this game. Great Arcade Port and a ton of FUN. Instant contender for Best Atari SHMUP. Get this in your collection immediately.

This is easily the best 7800 game ever! It's hard at first but the fun really begins when you pickup additional helis. Impressive graphics and soundtrack - looking forward to more Toaplan games.

Great game, but has no difficulty settings and it's very hard. Players be warned. There is 4 levels here, but you'll be lucky to make it out of 1... Anyway back on mission I go, wish me luck.

This is the third recent version of this game I own, alongside the M2 Switch version and the Bitwave Switch version. I cannot believe how well the game was done on 7800+, given the hardware limitations. Yes, it's a 1984 arcade game, but have you played the NES port?

I purchased a few games with my Pac-Man Atrari system and Tiger-Heli is fine. Not my favorite of the bunch, but it's not bad either.

Super fun game, and quite challenging. I played lots of Twin Cobra on the NES back in the day, and this takes me back. Very glad it was released for the 7800!

I am a big fan of both the 7800 and Shmups. If you feel the same way, you owe it to yourself to pick up this game. This is a fantastic version of Tiger-Heli that really shows the untapped potential of the 7800. Fast action, awesome sound, great graphics come together to create an all around amazing game. I play on an original 7800, and it works perfectly.

This is such an iconic title and such a historic piece of video gaming history as I believe it was the first vertical shooter to ever implement an enemy clearing bomb attack!!

If you like stumps, this one is for you! Fast challenging gameplay, top of the line graphics for the 7800 and works very good with the new wireless 7800 game pad.
