CX40+ Wireless Joystick: Ghost Edition – CLYDE

Simple to use and install. Works great and is very responsive. My only gripe was that I ordered Blinky the Orange controller and inside the box was Pac-Mac the yellow controller.

It is not the color on the box, nor in the ad. It is almost the same yellow as the PacMan joystick. I asked to exchange it for the blue and got no response. When they originally answered they said the color was misprinted but no offer to fix it.

I love this controller! My favorite color is orange and although the shade of orange is almost yellow,I understand that the shade of orange matches the Clyde Ghost. I just wish the color matched the box color instead. Anyway, it works pretty good and it is nice yo have a Wireless controller for my 7800+

I bought mine recently, and im really excited to try some games on my computer with the USB dongle!, i cant wait for it to arrive!

Awesome addition to the Pac-Man 2600+ Vivid box to display. Strangely compelled to buy them all.

The CX40+ wireless controllers feel very close to the original and are the best way to recreate the original gameplay without tripping over cables.

I wanted a joystick to go along with 2600 carts being played on the 7800+ as well as with PC emulation. Bonus... they had my favorite color, orange!!

I love these! Pac-Man joysticks and even though I don't need all of them, I wanted them because they're so cool looking. Everything arrived in perfect shape. No damaged boxes.

Controller itself works fine, and as expected.
However the color is WAY off, compared to what was advertised. I was expecting, a deep, bright orange color, much like the advertised pre-order. Instead the color is almost yellow, and more like the 'orange' tone of Clyde in the game.
It may be a silly thing ton e disappointed over, but I do feel the pre-order advertising was misleading.
To their credit, Atari did offer a refund or replacement, but but all the Pac Man controllers were sold out, and I wanted to keep the theme of the console going so I just kept it.
Not the end of the world, but disappointing nonetheless.

Great gift from my son. Good solid joystick that needs to be played with to loosen up the color is lighter but goes good with the Pac-Man set up.

Not as maneuverable as I remember but probably at lot more sturdy. We went through a lot of joysticks as kids, so I expect this design has corrected those defects. Also, I note that this joystick seems to default to the 2nd controller slot, which is fine but confusing to begin with if your joysticks are the same color.

Color is not orange

Yeah the color on the box needs to be fixed. I seen it on YouTube and someone was complaining about it. I will buy it if ATARI fixes the color on the box.

Up front, no, the orange doesn't match the box art or promo pics.
But, it matches the on-screen appearance of Clyde in the game.
Also, yes, the stick is extremely stiff, but loosens and becomes more responsive with use.
Pro hack, for certain games, like Galaxian, you can turn it one-quarter turn and use the stick with your left hand and button with the right. Just know that up moves left on the screen and down moves right.

Opps! someone screwed up on the color, how does that happen!
Clyde the Cantaloupe will have to do I guess.

The CLYDE joysick was delivered after over 100 days of waiting for a Pre-order, and it is YELLOW, not ORANGE. I notified Atari and sent pictures; they will refund my money, but no explanation for why it's yellow and not orange—poor quality control. (I mean Pac-Man yellow) So if you are a true fan of the CLYDE orange color ghost, don't order!

joystick is inconsensitent in up or down movement , plus color is off on orange clyde controller and yellow pacman controller is already falling apart after 3 weeks of use

Like everyone else has said. It’s not really what’s advertised. A little disappointed considering the price of these.

This is so misleading. Clyde is orange. The box is orange. The controller is ......yellow. So disappointed. I was excited, but Atari sucks for this. Especially for the $40 price.

Very good controller but color is way off and no good.

The color is not orange at all. It’s kind of a pale yellow only slightly different than Pac-Man yellow so it just doesn’t work in terms of color, which is kind of important at being said I’m not gonna return it because it’s just not worth it. It’s you know a good working joystick, but when the color is completely different on the advertising material and all pictures then the product you get that’s kind of disappointing. I recommend getting any other color over the orange because it’s not orange.

Controller, assuming it functions the same as the one that came with the console is great!

Unfortunately, this controller is yellow... Not as yellow as the Pac Man controller... But there is no mistaking this controller for orange, especially compared to the controller on the box, the advertising, etc...

Hope Atari is able to make this right for the customers.

Here’s another one in yellow when it’s supposed to be orange. Poor response from Atari, they basically just offered to either return it or keep it as-is. They didn’t even offer a discount on a future item.

I like the joystick but it’s yellow when it should have been orange.
