Wirelessly connects to your new 7800+ and 2600+ AND it works with original 2600 and 7800 hardware using the included DB9 wireless adapter. The CX78+ feels solid and the buttons and d-pad all respond without issue. The wireless function works great so I can sit on the couch. It's also cool the little joystick on the d-pad can be unscrewed so you can the d-pad without it. It's not ergonomic, as most controllers weren't back then, but it looks like an accurate recreation of the original controller. The CX78+ also works flawlessly with all the old 2600 games I've tired it with.

I do worry that the threading on the little joystick may get worn or ruined over time because it's plastic, but it does look like there are 3rd party options for the little joysticks.

Overall, this is a great way to experience the classic games with some modern conveniences of a wireless gamepad.
