THE CUTEST CO-OP PLATFORMING CHALLENGE
Bread & Fred is a challenging co-op platformer where two players must cooperate to jump and climb to the top of a snowy mountain. Play as both Bread and Fred in their exasperating and sometimes maddening climb that requires precision with every jump. Each time you land you’ll be closer to the peak and one step closer to mastering the platforming, but your fall down the mountain will be even farther.
Bread & Fred: The Laboratory Update
These cute, climbing penguins take their biggest swing yet in Bread & Fred: The Laboratory Update. With a new, mysterious lab to explore that doubles the size of the map, Bread and Fred must don their HAZMAT suits and work together to climb 666 meters to escape. Along the way, they encounter new challenges and puzzles. The higher they climb, the darker and gloomier the lab gets, until they are confronted with the ultimate challenge.
FOREVER TIED TOGETHER
Play as two penguins tied together (or as a single player tied to Jeff the rock) as you hop, jump, and swing to the top. Work as a team to climb, or you risk plummeting back down.
HOLD ON TIGHT
These cute penguins can hold onto the sides of mountains … for a short time. Grab on to swing your way to the next obstacle. Be careful though. These penguins are chubby so you can’t hold on long.
ADJUST THE DIFFICULTY
If the challenge is too much, the game includes several ways to adjust the difficulty to make your climb easier.
WORK TOGETHER, OR ELSE!
Bread & Fred is a casual but challenging co-op platformer, where players must work together to help two cute and funny penguins jump and climb to the top of a snowy mountain. Steer your penguin pals through a sometimes maddening climb that requires precision with every jump. Tethered together, Bread and Fred use their momentum to swing each other higher. But don’t forget to anchor every swing, because if one penguin falls, they will pull the other down with them.
While designed as a hilarious two-player challenge, you can also enjoy the game solo. Climb the mountain as Greg the penguin, who must use a rock on a rope (named Jeff), instead of a penguin pal, to swing his way uphill. For the craziest climbers, Bread & Fred includes a speedrun mode, so you can compete and be crowned the best penguins on the planet.
