XEVIOUS 7800

This is a game I had only ever played in the arcades when I was a kid, but I remember really enjoying the challenging gameplay. When I seen this new release, I had to add it to my collection. It's just as fun and challenging as I remember it! A much have for any Atari library!

Been giving this some love, and I honestly wish I had done so sooner. I'm not a massive shooter fan, but there is definitely something unique about this one. A lot of scrolling shooters will have you kill and move, but this one you have to really figure out some good strategy if you want to actually take out massive amounts of baddies.

The Classic Arcade game is Well represented here in this fantastic port. Including the difficulty. This is One Hard game. Saying that, it also beckons you to try again...get farther... It looks and plays amazing, and the 1-button control actually helps make this port more playable. Fun and Frustrating, Frenetic and Fast-Paced.

Really fun game nice that you can start out easy. I like that you can use the one button joystick makes it easier for me.

Xevious can be brutal, but it's awesome to have a brand new cart of one of the OG arcade shooters.

Xevious on the Atari 7800+ and updated 2600+ is a sharp, faithful vertical shooter with nonstop action. Air‑and‑ground dual targeting keeps the gameplay strategic, though the ship can feel slow against heavy fire. A solid, classic arcade conversion.

Very happy with this system! It did take longer than estimated but with the holidays being exceptionally hectic this year, it’s understandable. I will say that the joysticks are very stiff, like others have said, but all in all, we are very happy. My one request is that you work on your customer service communications.

The controllers are awful. Very hard to use. Not responsive to movement.

Sent wrong dongles with the system and nobody is responding to my customer service

Excellent port to the atari 7800+ line. My brother had the nes cartridge back in the day and we used to play together so xevious for me is absolute nostalgic gold and atari did a perfect job releasing this cartridge with the box and instruction manual. Thank you atari,,, but unfortunately I ordered this game from the Amazon website because it was delivered in 2 days instead of waiting 3 weeks for the bumbs that work for atari shipping and handling to ship it 🤣

If you are a fan of Xevious this is a great port. The graphics are a little muddy but do a good job. Sound can be harsh so keep it low. But control is great!

Xevious isn't my favorite game. There are so many top down shooters that I think do what Xevious does but better. However, this is an absolutely faithful recreation of that game including even the fuel tank secret in it. The music and sound gets repetitive quite quickly and is a bit sharp and loud which is my only quibble. Otherwise, if you like Xevious you're sure to like this version.

This was a really neat cartridge remake. It's pretty cool to add to my collection I use the game with my 2600+ and it works fine. If you like retro games, I would recommend picking this up.
